i dunno if a lot of people besides my loving wife knows that i love tv series with a medical theme. especially Grey's Anatomy. i find relevance as well as sad, torturing emotion unto my frustration of not pursuing the ambition to become a frontliner in the battle of defeating the grim reaper. i have to settle in the comfort of doing labs though i find and understood the importance of my responsibility now than ever before. it's not rewarding though when you see the newsletters comes out, where only those in the visible part of the whole team gets their names in the thank you cards and not a single soul was mentioned in the lab. well, IT IS THE JOB. how many times you hear ronaldinho, michael jordan, muhammad ali etc etc mentioned when they are the news on how they acheived their success? did they ever mention their trainors, the people around them who helped and paved they way to become what they've become? i could bet all the riches i have that they dont get the recognition they deserve. i could only wish....
you call it midlife crisis if you want. why weren't you born in europe so that you could earn millions even if you are only 21 years old playing football, whilst you dig shit and mix sputum and examine urine earning a meager salary which is only pocket change compared to steven gerrard's salary in a day?!?
you should watch this series. and i advise you to watch it from the start where they were still interns on how they tackle every day "real" problems and their solutions. be in love with the characters and find yourselves in either one or all of them. make yourself feel good as well as criticize yourselves on how potentially mean you can be.
