0230 hrs and my stomach is grumbling. feels like im grinding my own fat just to survive. i keep on thinking about hot soups and noodles i close my eyes i could almost taste it. ewww, saliva just dripped.

i just finished my online examination. bah, sickle cell disease. my rbc's sickled after the exam. lolz. my whole body nearly sickled.

im happy to receive mother hen's note in my drawer saying my photography/lighting course is a go go. i have to bring my cam and got to learn proper lighting the whole day and the hospital is paying for it! hmmn . .

students coming in next month. have to lubricate thine larynx and esophagus for it will be dreadful. how many times do i need to confess that if there are only a few jobs left in the world, teaching and sales are the very last ones i choose. dammit.

just bought a fone for a reason. or a bunch of reasons rather . .
taken from www.intomobil.com . . they have discussions comparing the apple iphone and the samsung omnia . .
just to make things clear, i dont have anything against the iphone.
what i just obscenely dislike are those mac users that thinks like mac is always better in everything.
its for your usage that counts. pound for pound, features against features, u be the judge as to what is better.
at the price which is almost the same, lets see who had a better deal. here it goes . . .

Don’t get me wrong… I would *LOVE* to see 10 different companies making
phones that have all those features. I’m just not seeing them over the past
1-2 years. Maybe they’ll get on the ball in 2009 or 2010????
(Of course… they will STILL be trying to play catch-up to the Iphone v3.0)

What are they waiting for???

There’s a reason why we are seeing so many companies/phones that are desperately trying
to look like the iPhone: They are trying to *BE* the iPhone. (Or you can just, simply

Well, according to these pictures, the dimensions are quite similar…

Again… The samsung i900 omnia… (wich supports as good as every mobile GPS applications to…)

Well, NO OS’s for mobile devices has a larger portfolio of app’s than windows mobile… I don’t know the actual number, but I think 10.000 is setting it low…

Which can I write my own code for?
Again… WIndows mobile devices… Or anything that runs Java…

Which phone has more than 16 BILLION bytes of ram?
Seems your calculator (from the iPhone? :P) is malfunctioning. And just to talk in language, people understand, both the samsung i900 omnia and the iPhone 3G has 128 MB RAM.

Which have a better browser than Safari?
Again… Omnia. The Safari browser does absolutely nothing, the Opera 9.5 browser doesn’t. And it even plays flv’s. (Youtube style videos - just not only youtube).

Which have 100 accessories that I can buy at stores all over the world?
… Didn’t i just menchion how many applications you can get for windows mobile…?

Which phones cost less than $199?
Price? - Well, sincer the omnia hasn’t been released at this point, I won’t try to argue… But I think I’ll afford it…

Which have multi-touch screens bigger than 3.5″?
Multi-touch screen… You’re right… That’s the ONE thing the iPhone has… Is it nescessary? - Does it make anything easier than the TouchWiz system? -Think not…

Which phone sells more than 1 million units… in 1 weekend?
Hmmm… Just to answer your question, Nokia sells 1,5 million devices every 24 hours… But then again, I don’t think these numbers has anything to do with wich mobile is the better choice, compared to advertisement…

So that’s basically 1 point for the iPhone, and 5 for the Omnia. And that’s just from YOUR arguments… Lets not forget about the camera…

So… Wich mobile packs a 5 MP, autofocus, flashenabled, face -and smilerecognizing camera, compared to the iPhones 2MP, not even autofocusing, video incompatible camera, with no lighting what so ever?
- The Samsung i900 Omnia.

…And why is everything starting to be compared to the iPhone… It’s really not that special… No flash, autofocus, only 2 MP Camera, no bluetooth file exchange, no MMS, no video… I really don’t see the big fuzz… It doesn’t do ANYTHING this phone don’t… And I could say the same for the HTC Touch Diamond or Pro, or the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1…

When all that is said, I DO believe, that the iPhone has a bright feature, in a couple of generations, once they catch up on the specs…

tired, battered yet still fighting to keep my eyes open and be alert at work. for me to do night shift tonight is a severe test of stamina. i was late and was running from novena mrt to the bloodbank. people who saw me might think i have a family member in the hospital fighting for his/her life. mr bolt was no match for me, well, thats what i think.

sometimes you just wish why cant all nurses who calls are like sn toh from the operating theater, or the porter that pops out your window is porter zhang. why cant there be nice people around when im working. well, tonight im working with "robocop" at cp. sorry but i really don't know the guys name. all i know is that he never smiles nor talk a lot. i wonder what's on his mind though. have you ever seen an actor portraying a serial killer in a movie? hehehe, this guy has that mysterious aura in him. sigh. im a baddie. i know i am.

well, tonight's shift started on the wrong foot i suppose. the bus i got in to is the slowest bus ever! like salt rubbed in a wound, halfway to my journey, the scrap of metal that i was riding on to broke down! result, 10 mins late. sorry mojo jojo. sorry mdm lim. lucky you did not punish me by leaving a lot. just not preparing abo tubes, that's all.

i also wanna apologise to princess dabinator for not attending your burial er birthday dinner coz i really have an appointment. eat your heart out. its not common for old maids to celebrate their birthdays y'know . . .advance happy birthday joy dabi tan-marudo. lolz.

1 more week. till i gather myself into one. i feel like a lot of things in my mind and im physically spent also. august is now my most hated month officially. no offence to our bday celebrants...

wife: asleep

me: drank soya milk and ate pancakes at 1030 hrs.
wife: still asleep

me: left alone and sleepy @1300 hrs. partner went for lunch.
wife: to wash clothes or not to wash clothes. indecisive. calls hubby.

me: ate lunch, read newspaper alone in a rainy sunday afternoon.
wife: went downtown, to shop for curtain cords and house items.

me: looking at the clock. three and a half hours more. saliva spoilt.
wife: says hello to orchard road for me. complains cords are expensive.

sigh. who has a better sunday? i think she did.

i slept like a baby last night.... after moving a dozen boxes, drilled countless holes in the vastness of our walls, installed i-don't-know-how-many things in our new house, i really cannot remember after what happened after i rolled away from my wife's side of the bed. it only felt like a wink though. i closed my eyes and my alarm clock with its most irritable sound (enter the superman theme song)sprang into action.

have you ever pondered on your mobile phone? especially if you use it as your alarm clock, have you tried (at least once) choosing a very nice sounding alarm? you know what, i feel kinda stupid because no matter how good or angelic the sound is, it is still the most irritating sound you hear when you wake up. its like a jackhammer pounding your eardrums or your mom's mouth when you are in your puberty and hers on her menopausal stage. sorry mum!

it's sunday and again im committing a sin for i am not making it holy. im working while most homo sapiens are either asleep or just plain making their testicles grow bigger. ten hours and thirty minutes more to go. . . . .

nice hair fallah . . . did you get hit by a lightning or just plain-undies-method did you use? suites you though . . .

i saw this on tv . . . what word can you make that if you flip it upside down and twist it in reverse, you could see the same spelling? (don't ask me what rubbish im blabbering about, i don't know how to explain also)

im a criminal. i have orders not to use the lab's internet for it is banned since july. well, hell be with them. its so fckng unfair! what should we do then if there's no specimen? when everything has been done? when all pipette tips are filled, when all rubbish thrown, when all itchiness scratched? do i have to read a book? what if i fall asleep? it's so unfair for us (the good guys, yuck) for we know when to use the internet and responsible enough not to be affected when working!

so much for complaining. time to give praises. kudos for the brain behind bts vanity makeover. though i had hard time locating things and still there are loopholes but i do appreciate the efforts done. yup, good work guys. maybe this is an effect of having too much money in the bank after 2 months worth of bonuses huh?

cebu pacific airlines. tsk tsk tsk. you bunch of bozos and assholes. does high altitude makes your brain thinner and softer? whats wrong with you guys? if i have choices (especially money), i would never ride your damn planes! i'd buy the whole fleet and make them as garbage bins enough to give every family in the philippines 5 bins each! i have been loyal to your company and yet you repay your customers headaches by cancelling flights and not having the balls to offer rerouting plans? do we always have to wait for one outstanding employee to serve us right? what's the ratio by the way? good employee vs. suckers... hmmn... 1 (in cebu) is to all in manila? just took a call from the main bloodbank, its the old guy working again. whats the matter with him huh? i sent one driver to collect additional blood stocks for my O rbc's are running low and together with it is an Ab Ident Non Urgent. so, basically it means that it will be done only in the morning right? and why, oh why, do i deserve a lecture that i shouldn't have done what i did a while ago? that i should send my specimens with uncle L in the morning? does he know how much petrol costs? (i think no because he walks to work everyday?). i really wanna shout over the phone. welcome back to hell capt oaks.

wabs, i promised not to be sarcastic, not to be mean, and not to pick fights when im working at night. do i have the choice?

as i gaze what is supposed to be a living room, i could only ponder as to why am i doing this too often. 9 houses in 8 years. as if i never really learn. complaints about head and body aches accompany this endless lifting and moving. 6 boxes already and a hundred more to go . . . ..

2 weeks . . .2 weeks of rest. 2 weeks of agonizing rest. tsk tsk tsk. the only rewarding thing i got is to see those old familiar faces happy to hold me and see me like the way it used to be. and how i miss them..

now that its my first day back to work, it seems that nothing has changed. your blood can boil in a second. you still keep on looking at the clock and wonder how come it seems broken and its not moving any faster.

im happy to see the cat. im happy to see some familiar faces. happy to print out my latest payslip that is already gone. huhuhu.

first day back to work and im scheduled EARLY! and tomorrow on night! bravura to the one who made it possible.

now the endless cycle of complaining and bitchin around starts. game on.
